Certified Organic Farm and Local Produce
Located on the scenic Covey Hill Road in Hemmingford, in the heart of Quebec’s Montérégie region and less than one hour south of Montreal, La Fermette is a certified organic market garden known for its exceptional fresh produce, sustainable farming practices and strong connection to the local food movement.
Founded in 2018 through a collaboration between passionate Montreal restaurateurs and two dedicated farmers, La Fermette specializes in small-scale bio-intensive agriculture focused on freshness, soil health and environmental stewardship. On approximately one hectare of cultivated land, including greenhouses and open fields, more than 50 varieties of vegetables, lettuces and fresh herbs are grown without pesticides using certified organic practices recognized by Ecocert Canada.
La Fermette supplies fresh produce to several well-known Montreal restaurants, including Le Parvis, Papito and Furco, while also offering direct access to consumers through:

- weekly vegetable baskets and online ordering
- pickup locations in Montreal and Hemmingford
- seasonal farm-direct sales
