Cidrerie et Distillerie C.E.Petch

Award-Winning Craft Cider & Apple Spirits.

Named in tribute to founder Charles Edgar Petch, who planted the first apple trees on this site in 1920, Cidrerie et Distillerie C.E.Petch was established in 2017 by the fourth generation of the family — Justin Petch — on their 115-acre estate in Hemmingford. Every bottle reflects over 100 years of orchard expertise: each apple tree is personally pruned and cared for by the cider makers, the juice ferments at low temperature, and the cider ages before bottling.

A multi-medal winner at GLINTCAP (1 gold, 6 silver, 1 bronze), the product range spans: classic and flavoured dry ciders, ice ciders, apple brandy, apple-infused spirits, and sparkling apple juice. Weekend distillery tours in summer pull back the curtain on the artisan process, and the orchard patio invites visitors to linger with a glass in hand.
